Envision What’s Possible

Feb 1 marks the half way point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. This is the time, as the light grows stronger, when we start to stir, focusing our attention on the outer world, bringing forth our dreams. This is the time for setting intentions!

Let us come together and channel what we’ve dreamed over the winter months into form, birthing them into our lives by giving them voice and substance. A previous participant said this workshop changed her life, and is about to publish her first novel because of it. Come see what it holds for you.

Lunch provided both days. Please bring healthy snacks and drinks, a journal to write in, and a cushion if you like. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows gentle movement.

Naada Yoga Thursdays

Effective immediately, all Shāktānanda Āshram events are offered on a donation basis.  Participants are expected to give according to their means.  If your donation involves something other than money, please get agreement on what that consists of ahead of time.  While I would love to accept chickens, goats, or cats, there are limitations of what is allowable in my lease.

Did you know every letter of the Sanskrit alphabet is a complete mantra and holds encapsulated cosmology within it that produces a specific state of being?

It’s true. This is why correct pronunciation is so important.

Naada (Sacred Sound) Yoga has the capacity to create relaxed states in the body and mind equal to or surpassing physical postural yoga asana, and it is fully accessible for every body. You don’t have to have any particular physical capabilities, other than speech, to participate in it.

Community Kirtan

Community Kirtan is a safe, supportive space where anyone can lead a chant, if they like.  Please come and lend your voices, hearts, and presence!  We’ll start chanting at 7:30 and end around 9:30, with time to socialize before and after.

Please bring instruments, or a snack to share if you like, but the most important thing to bring is yourself.  It’s a very loving and supportive environment.

Dance, sing, or simply sit quietly and let the sacred sound waves wash through you. Your presence is welcome here.

Community Kirtan is a safe, supportive space where anyone can lead a devotional chant, if they like.  No experience necessary.  Please come and share your voices, hearts, and presence!  Doors at 7pm, chanting starts at 7:30pm and ends around 9:30, with time to socialize after.
